Chelsea F.C. 1922. Very rare original autograph sheet with typed players’ field positions in a grid format. Each position is very nicely signed in black ink by the respective Chelsea player. Signatures are Baker (Goal), Smith (Right-back), Harrow (Left-back), Wilding (Centre-half), Cameron (Right-half), the rarer Meehan (Left-half), Linfoot (Outside-right), Thain (Inside-right), Cock (Centre-forward), Sharp (Inside-left), and McNeil (Outside-left). Handwritten title to verso, ‘Chelsea F.C. 1922’. Originally from the collection of the collector, Louis B. Frewer. The page appears to be laid down to contemporary card and folded, and measures 8.5”x5.5” open. Small adhesive marks to verso, otherwise in very good condition.
