Aston Villa F.C. ‘The Villa News and Record’ Season 1970-71 to 1979-80 seasons. A collection of ten bound volumes of Aston Villa home match programmes with original covers comprising seasons 1970-71 vol.28 no.1 to 30, 1971-72 32 programmes, 1972-73 33 programmes, 1973-74 27 programmes, 1974-75 28 programmes, 1975-76 29 programmes, 1976-77 35 programmes, 1977-78 27 programmes, 1978-79 27 programmes and 1979-80 26 programmes, each volume bound in claret boards with gilt titles. The first volume and the last three the programmes are bound into the binding and the middle six volumes have loose programmes as issued. Some faults, some annotation to field of play, some creasing and wear to programmes otherwise in good condition. Sold with a large complete collection of bound volumes for the 1980-81 season to 2022-23 season. All bound in claret boards with gilt titles to spine, with the exception of the 2017/18 to 2022/23 seasons which are loose in claret boxes with titles to spine, the odd ticket and odd single sheet friendly programme tucked into them. All appear complete. Forty two seasons of programmes covering the First Division winning season of 1980/81, the European Cup winning season of 1981/82 and the League Cup winning season of 1993/94.
