‘M.C.C. Tour of Australia 1974-5’. Large souvenir autograph sheet produced for Derek Underwood’s benefit in 1975. The sheet with decorative colour borders in blue, gold and green, printed titles, photographic images of the captains, Mike Denness and Ian Chappell to top corners, and Derek Underwood to centre. Signed to the sheet by the eighteen members of the England touring party, signatures are Denness (Captain), Greig, Fletcher, Amiss, Lloyd, Edrich, Hendrick, Titmus, Arnold, Knott, Old, Cowdrey, Taylor, Willis, Luckhurst, Lever, Underwood and Bedser (Manager). Also signed by thirteen members of the Australian team, I. Chappell (Captain), G. Chappell, Edwards, Redpath, McCosker, Jenner, Marsh, Mallett, Lillee, Walters, Edwards, Thomson and Walker. Framed and glazed, overall 18”x13”. Damp stains to lower and right edges, some age toning, and fading to some signatures, otherwise in good condition.
