The Ashes. ‘Souvenir of the First Test Match England v Australia’ 1903/04. Rare early mono postcard of the scorecard for the match played at Sydney, 11th- 17th December 1903, with ornate decorative borders, title and emblems. Publisher unknown. Postally unused. Good/ very good condition. A rare postcard.
England posted a first innings total of 577 with Foster scoring 287 and Braund 102. Australia then made 285 (Noble 133) and, following on, 485 (Trumper 185). England chased down the required 192 runs with five wickets to spare.
