Two feature M.C.C. touring teams to Australia for matches v C.I. Thornton’s XI, 5th- 8th September 1925 and 5th- 7th September 1928, including Gilligan, Kilner, Hobbs, Sutcliffe, Sandham, Hendren, Douglas, Tate, Strudwick, Chapman, Hammond, Macaulay, Geary, Duckworth, Tyldesley etc., the Gentlemen team v Players 5th- 8th September 1931, including Haig, Stevens, Wyatt, Allen, Jupp, Brown, F. Gilligan etc., and the Derbyshire team for the match v Yorkshire 14th & 15th August 1935 including Richardson, Elliott, Mitchell, A.V. & G.H. Pope, Copson, Worthington, Alderman etc. Players’ names annotated to verso of three postcards. All photographs by Walkers Studios, Scarborough. Very good condition.
