Five mono real photograph plain back postcards of teams at Scarborough, the players depicted standing in one row wearing cricket attire in front of the pavilion. Includes one each of the teams for Yorkshire v M.C.C. 31st August- 2nd September 1949, Yorkshire team v M.C.C. 2nd- 5th September 1950, and one of each team, North v South, 6th- 8th September 1950. Yorkshire players include Yardley, Hutton, Coxon, Lester, Lowson, Brennan, Close, Leadbeater, Halliday, Watson, Wardle etc. Others include Wyatt, Dawkes, Young, Mann, Brown, Edrich, Compton, Graveney, Insole, Fishlock, Gladwin, Simpson, Berry etc. Names annotated to verso (one to front). All with official stamp to verso of Walkers Studios, Scarborough. Very good condition.
