‘Birmingham Nondescripts Cricket Club’ 1908 & 1910. Two early photographs of the Nondescripts cricket team seated and standing in rows wearing cricket attire. Both photographs by De’Ath & Condon of Ashford, laid down to official photographer’s mounts with printed titles and players names to mount borders. One describes the team for the ‘Sixth Annual Tour in Kent Aug. 1st to 9th, 1908’, the other for the ‘7th [sic] Annual Tour in Kent, May 14th to May 22nd, 1910’. Both photographs measure approx. 11.5”x8”, mounted overall 17”x14”. Both mounts with some staining, the 1908 photograph with minor mark to top left corner, otherwise nice images in good/ very good condition. Sold with an early original photograph of an unknown football team dated 1906/07. The photograph by H.J. Whitlock of Birmingham. Framed and glazed overall 20”x16”. Good condition. Qty 3.
