Australian cricketers 1926-1948. Eight original mono press photographs of Australian cricketers. Players featured in batting pose or match action include, from the 1926 tour to England, Herbie Collins and Charlie Macartney, from the 1934 tour Bill O’Reilly, Alan Kippax and Len Darling, and one of Reginald Bettington (New South Wales) in batting action in 1928, All photographs 8”x6” by Sport & General, London. Also, from the 1948 tour, a mono portrait photograph of Doug Ring half length holding a ball and wearing a Victoria cap, signed by Ring (signature faded), and another of Sam Loxton in batting pose, both 8.5”x6” by the Australian News Information Bureau. Very good condition.
