Rugby Union. ‘Welsh Team v. New Zealand’ 1935/36. Large original mono photograph of the Wales team that defeated the New Zealand tourists 13-12 at Cardiff, 21st December 1935. The players standing and seated in rows, wearing playing attire. Players featured include Davey (Captain), Jenkins, Payne, Prosser, J.I. Rees, Wooller, Rees-Jones, T.J. Rees, Lang, A.M. Rees, Tarr, Jones, Tanner etc. The photograph by J.E. Thomas of Newport measures 11.5”x9.5”, laid to official photographer’s mount, overall 18”x14”. Printed title and players’ names to mount borders. A nice image in very good condition.
