The Ashes. ‘England 1926’. Album page very nicely signed in ink by the twelve members of the England team corresponding with the 3rd Test v Australia at Headlingley, 10th- 13th July 1926. Signatures are Carr (Captain), Sutcliffe, Strudwick, Woolley, Chapman, Geary, Hendren, Macaulay, Kilner, Hobbs, Tate and Root (presumably twelfth man). The page laid down to slightly larger trimmed page. Very good condition.
The first four Tests of the 1926 series were drawn. England won the 5th Test to win the series 1-0 and regain The Ashes for the first time since 1912.
