South Africa tour to England 1904. Large album page beautifully signed in ink by the eleven members of the South African touring party, ten of whom played in the tour match v Leicestershire at Aylestone Road, 1st- 3rd August 1904. The page with handwritten title ‘South African Cricket Team August 3rd 1904’. Signatures are Mitchell (Captain), Tancred, Kotze, Horwood, Shalders, Sinclair, Hathorn, Halliwell, White, Snooke and Wallach. The South Africans won by an innings and one run with centuries from Tancred (109) and Hathorn (128), Sinclair taking 6/65 in Leicestershire’s first innings. Very good condition.
