Gentlemen v Players, The Oval, 8th-10th July 1909. Large album page very nicely signed in ink by the Players team. The eleven signatures are A.A. Lilley (Cpt), E. Hayes, T. Hayward, A. Fielder, S.P. Kinnier, E, Humphreys, F. Tarrant, G. Thompson, W.G. Quaife, C. Blythe and F.E. Woolley. To the verso is the signature of Hitenda Narayan of Cooch Behar who played for Somerset in the 1909/10 season making only four appearances and died young at the age of 30 years. The page measures 6.75”x9”. Early pre WWI signatures. Very good condition
