Warwickshire 1899. Large album page very nicely signed in ink by the Warwickshire team. Thirteen signatures in total, the first two signatures of Charles Robson and George W. Harris are Hampshire players. The remaining eleven signatures signed below are A.C.S. Glover (Cpt), T. Basil Rhodes, A.A. Lilley, S. Hargreaves, S. Santall, E.J. Diver, Dickens, Whitehead, W. Quaife, Charlesworth and W.G. Quaife. The page measures 6.75”x9”. Rare early pre WWI signatures. Very good condition
George W. Harris played only one match for Hampshire in 1899 and T. Basil Rhodes played only three matches for Worcestershire in 1899.This sheet may well have been signed at the Hampshire v Warwickshire match played at Dean Park, Bournemouth on 21st, 22nd, 23rd August 1899. T.B. Rhodes was playing for Warwickshire but not Harris and the Warwickshire differed by four players
