Kumar Shri Ranjitsinhji. Cambridge University, Sussex, London County & England 1893-1920. Original mono studio portrait photograph of Ranji in younger years, standing full length wearing his formal uniform of an officer of the Patiala State Bodyguard. The photograph by Messrs. Stearn of Cambridge, presumably taken when Ranji was at Cambridge University, measures 4”x5.75”, laid to official photographer’s mount, overall 8”x10”. Small stain to left edge of the photograph, otherwise an excellent image in very good condition.
