Kumar Shri Ranjitsinhji. Cambridge University, Sussex, London County & England 1893-1920. Original sepia studio portrait photograph of Ranji standing full length alongside another Indian cricketer in a turban. Both players wearing cricket attire and bow ties, and leaning on their bats. Ranji is wearing a blazer of the Rajindra Cricket Club, and the other gentleman is leaning on his matching blazer, which is draped over a wooden railing. The photograph is laid to tightly (somewhat crudely) trimmed contemporary mount card, overall 8.25”x11.5”. Photographer unknown. Good condition. An excellent image.
