Original sepia studio portrait photograph of Ranji, head and shoulders in cameo, wearing the military uniform of a British WW1 officer. The oval photograph measures 7”x9”, laid to trimmed photographer’s mount, framed and glazed, overall 9.25”x13”. Nicely signed with dedication in ink, ‘Yours sincerely, Ranjitsinhji of Nawanagar’. Also signed to the mount in pencil by the photographer Vandyk of London. Very good condition. An excellent image.
