Kumar Shri Ranjitsinhji. Cambridge University, Sussex, London County & England 1893-1920. Excellent original sepia photograph of Ranjitsinhji standing full length in batting pose at the wicket. The photograph with official blind embossed stamp for Vandyk of London to lower left corner, and signed ‘Vandyk’ in pencil. Annotation in ink below the photograph by Ranji, ‘To Plum [Warner] from an old comrade and friend’ signed ‘Ranjitsinhji of Nawanagar’. The photograph measures approx. 10”x15”, framed and glaze in contemporary frame, overall 12”x16.5”. An excellent image in very good condition, nicely signed and dedicated by this iconic cricketer.
