Sussex C.C.C. 1904. Large album page beautifully signed in black ink by the eleven members of the Sussex team who played Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge 2nd- 4th June 1904. The signatures, collected by the Nottinghamshire groundsman, are Ranjitsinhji, Fry, Seymour, Newham, Vine, Cox, Killick, Butt, Leach, Relf and the rarer signature of Alfred Seal (Sussex 1904, 2 matches). Dated 2nd June 1904. 6”x7.5”. Very good condition.
Nottinghamshire beat Sussex by 226 runs, George Gunn taking eleven wickets in the match. This was one of only two first-class matches in which Alfred Seal played, both for Sussex in 1904.
