Sussex 1922. Album page very nicely signed in ink by twelve players with neat annotation to lower corner, ‘Members of A.E.R. Gilligan’s XI who played Haywards Heath & District on Sept. 12th 1922. G.R. Cox, H.E. Roberts, A.E.R. Gilligan, G. Street, G. Stannard, K.A. Higgs, and M.W. Tate are all members of the Sussex County Team. W.L. Knowles is Secretary of the Sussex Club’. All who are mentioned have signed the page, also A.C. Campbell and the rarer signatures of P.W. Adams (one first-class match 1922) and A.A. Saunders (12 matches 1922-23). No record of the match can be found. Very good condition.
