Sussex ‘away’ scorecards 1897-1900. Three early official double sided scorecards for Sussex County matches, all with complete printed and/ or handwritten scores in pencil. Matches are v Middlesex at Lord’s 12th- 14th August 1897 (Middlesex won by seven wickets), v Surrey, Kennington Oval 11th- 13th August 1898 (Surrey won by 73 runs), and v Essex, Leyton 31st May- 2nd June 1900 (match drawn). Two with horizontal fold, the Middlesex card with tape to verso, the Essex card with old tape and adhesive marks to verso, otherwise in generally good condition.
