George Benjamin Street, Sussex & England 1909-1923. M.C.C. navy blue touring cap with embroidered emblem of St. George and the dragon, by E.C. Devereux of Eton, worn by Street on the M.C.C. tour of South Africa in 1922/23. ‘G. Street’ handwritten in black ink to inside label. Some wear to the inner silk lining, slight minor fading, odd small moth hole otherwise in good condition. Previously sold by Knights Auctioneers in July 1997 as lot 1173
