Percy George Herbert Fender. Sussex, Surrey & England 1910-1935. Large album comprising eighteen original school certificates/ reports issued to Fender in his time at St. George’s College, Weybridge for the academic years 1902/03-1905/06. Includes nine ornately printed examination certificates with marks entered in copperplate handwriting, each loose mounted individually to a page, the remainder loosely inserted. Handwritten title in ink to first page in Fender’s own hand ‘Percy George Herbert Fender. Commenced his education at St. George’s College, Weybridge, Sept. 1902’. Some pages also annotated in ink by Fender with comments including ‘Three weeks & four days absent out of this term’, ‘Prize gained this summer term for English book entitled ‘Wulf the Saxon, July 1903’, ‘Moved into higher form this term Xmas 1903’, ‘Prize gained this summer term for Arithmetic entitled “The Red Cocade” July 1904’ etc. Paint stains and wear to covers, internally in very good condition.
