John Richard ‘Jack’ Mason. Kent & England 1893-1914. Single page handwritten letter in ink from Mason to ‘My dear Shrimp’ (H.D.G Leveson Gower). Dated 19th March 1903, Mason writes to say he is ‘sorry I shall have no time to get up matches this season [possibly for the Scarborough Festival]. I wish I could, but I should like to play sometimes for Old Wykehamists’. Very nicely signed ‘J.R. Mason’. Light horizontal folds, old tape to edges, some age toning, otherwise in good condition.
