M.C.C. Tour of Australia & New Zealand ‘Bodyline’ 1932/33. New Zealand leg of the tour. Three handwritten letters to Douglas Crampton (an autograph collector) from Fred Badcock, Jack Newman and Paul Whitelaw, all New Zealand Test cricketers who played against the M.C.C. during the 1932/33 Test tour. One letter dated 1943 and the other two 1978. Also an original photograph of M.C.C. tourists Maurice Leyland and Bill Voce attending Canterbury Racecourse near Christchurch and photographic images of a visit to the Maori settlement of Whakarewarewa in Rotorua. The tourists were treated to traditional cultural displays and explored the area’s geothermal wonders. Various size photographs. Good condition
