Surrey C.C.C. ‘County Champions’ 1888. Rare and impressive official sepia photograph of the Surrey team, seated and standing in rows wearing caps, some in blazers. The photograph is laid down to official photographers mount with title ‘Surrey, 1888’ and players names printed to lower border. Players featured include J. Shuter, Key, Beaumont, Wood, Bowley, Lohmann, M. Read, W.W. Read, Abel etc. The photograph by E. Hawkins & Co of Brighton. Window mounted with printed details below, overall 20”x23”. Good condition. Excellent image of this early Surrey team
