Robert Elliott Storey ‘Bob’ Wyatt. Warwickshire, Worcestershire & England 1923-1951. Original mono press photograph of the captains, R.E.S. Wyatt of England and Herbie Wade of South Africa tossing for innings for the 4th Test at Old Trafford, 27th- 30th July 1935. Nicely signed in ink to the photograph by Wyatt. 7.5”x9.5”. Sport & General, London. Light crease to one corner, otherwise in very good condition.
The 4th Test at Old Trafford was drawn. South Africa recorded their first Test victory in England at Lord’s. With the other four Tests drawn this also secured their first series victory in England.
