Images depict Athol Rowan in batting action, match action from the 3rd Test at Old Trafford, team photograph etc. Players featured include Melville, Rowan, Dawson, Mann, Mitchell, Nourse, Tuckett, Viljoen etc. Sport & General and Central Press Photos. 9.5”x7.5” and smaller. Sold with a letter signed by Ossie Dawson, dated 1999, laid to card, a copy photograph signed by Syd Burke, official brochure for the 1947 tour edited by A.W. Simpson, and an official scorecard for the 2nd Test at Lord’s 21st- 25th June 1947 with complete printed and handwritten scores. The photographs in good condition, odd minor faults to others. Qty 8.
