Hedley Verity, Yorkshire & England, 1930-39. Excellent large original mono photograph of Verity, three quarter length, wearing cricket attire and proudly wearing his England cap standing in front of a picket fence. Very nicely signed ‘Yours sincerely H. Verity’ yo lower edge of mount. The photograph measuring 7.75”x9.75” is attractively mounted, framed and glazed and measures overall 13.5”x16.5”. Very good condition. Sold with a signed letter of provenance to this effect from G. Douglas Verity, son of Hedley, to the vendor and dated July 2001
