‘Yorkshire County Cricket Team circa 1934/35’. Excellent official mono photograph of the Yorkshire team seated and standing in rows wearing cricket attire and blazers. Players featured include Sellers (captain), Sutcliffe, Macauley, Leyland, Wood, Mitchell, Verity, Barber, Bowes, A. Rhodes etc. The photograph, by Charles of Leeds, measures 8”x5”, laid to official photographer’s mount with printed photographers titles to lower border. Overall 14”x10”. The photograph presented in original photographers grey folder, again with photographers titles printed to front cover. ‘H. Verity’ indistinctly written/signed in pencil to top right hand corner of the folder. Good condition. From the Hedley Verity collection
