Wilfred Rhodes. Yorkshire & England 1898-1930. Excellent large original mono photograph of Rhodes, three quarter length, wearing cricket attire and his Yorkshire cap and blazer at a cricket ground. Very nicely signed ‘Yours sincerely W. Rhodes’ to lower edge of mount. The photograph measuring 7.75”x9.5” is attractively mounted, framed and glazed and measures overall 13.5”x16.5”. Very good condition. Sold with a further unsigned framed photograph of Rhodes, again wearing his Yorkshire cap and blazer. Overall 9”x10.75”. Sold with a signed letter of provenance to this effect from G. Douglas Verity, son of Hedley, to the vendor and dated July 2001
