Hedley Verity, Yorkshire & England, 1930-39 and Maurice Leyland, Yorkshire & England 1920-1947. Excellent sepia studio portrait photograph of the two players, full length, wearing suits and ties, Verity holding a pipe in his right hand. The photograph, taken on the M.C.C. tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1936/37, with imprint for The Crown Studios, Cuba Street, Wellington, New Zealand, measures 5.5”x7.5” and is laid down to original photographers mount, overall 6.25”x8.25”.
