Hedley Verity. Yorkshire & England 1930-1939. ‘Bradford’s First Sporting Dinner (to celebrate Arthur Wood’s Benefit’. Official menu for the Dinner held for the wicket-keepers Benefit at The Midland Hotel, Bradford on the 17th April 1939. Yorkshire rose image to the centre of the menu with Yorkshire and M.C.C. colours to corners. Signed to the back cover in pencil, two in ink, by ten Yorkshire players. Signatures are Wood, Mitchell, Bowes, Sellers, Verity, Leyland, Barber, Hutton, Sutcliffe and Robinson. Sold with an official ‘Benefit Souvenir Book’ for Arthur Wood’s Benefit. Good condition. Qty 2.
