Australian tour of Malaya 1927 ‘W.A. Oldfield’s XI’. Large official four page folding programme for the North Malaya v Australian XI match played at The Esplanade, Penang on 17th and 18th June 1927. Printed in blue and red, title to front ‘The Greatest Cricket Season in Malaya. The first Australian cricket tour to this country’, with double page picture to centre pages of the Australian and Singapore C.C. teams that played earlier in the tour, and integral scorecard for the match below partially completed in ink. Printed by Kong Thong Press, Penang. Some folds/creases, nicks and age toning, small tape repair to inside edge, otherwise in generally good condition. Very rare.
