Australian tour of Malaya 1927 ‘W.A. Oldfield’s XI’. Rare souvenir tour brochure printed and published by ‘The Malayan Daily Express’. 44pp with original pictorial wrappers featuring a Malay tiger and Australian kangaroo to the front, and title ‘Souvenir of Australian Cricketers’ Visit May- June 1927’. Contents include player biographies by ‘Not Out’, photographs, statistics etc. Annotations in ink to front wrapper. Wear and soiling with expert repairs to wrappers and some pages, otherwise in good condition. A rare brochure not seen previously by the auctioneer.
