‘The Australia XI’ 1907/08. Scarce printed mono postcard of the Australian team, standing and seated in rows, wearing blazers with the umpires, Crockett and Hannah, to either side. Printed title and players’ names to top and lower borders. The team and umpires correspond with the 1st Test v England at Sydney, 13th- 19th December 1907, and includes Noble (Captain), Trumper, Hill, Cotter, Macartney, Armstrong, Ransford etc. Australia won by two wickets. Publisher unknown. Correspondence to verso in pencil. Minor wear to corners, otherwise in good condition.
