Australia. The Ashes 1936/37. Ten original sepia toned postcards of head and shoulders images of members of the Australian team. Issued by Amalgamated Press in 1936, each card is printed to verso ‘This is a real photogravure portrait’ with biographical details of the featured player. Players are Bradman (Captain), McCabe, Grimmett, Fingleton, Chipperfield, O’Reilly, Oldfield, Darling, Fleetwood-Smith and Brown. All postally unused. Light creasing to the Oldfield card, minor wear to corners, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
