Albert John Young Hopkins. New South Wales & Australia 1896-1915. Early original mono postcard of Hopkins standing full length wearing cricket attire, Australia Test cap and leaning on his bat. Very nicely signed in black ink by Hopkins to the image. Printed title ‘A.J. Hopkins’. T. Bolland of Hanwell & Southall. Postally unused. Minor wear to corners and edges, otherwise in very good condition.
Hopkins played in twenty Tests 1901-1909 and was a member of the Australian touring party to England in 1902, 1905 and 1909.
