Jean Laurent Robert Borotra. Single page typed letter on Borotra’s personal letterhead, dated 19th March 1985, relating to a residence permit. Nicely signed by Borotra. Sold with a selection of Borotra’s personal business cards and other correspondence, annotated, signed or initialled by Borotra. Also a mono press photograph of Borotra seated at a desk in his earlier years. Good condition.
Jean Borotra was one of the ‘Four Musketeers’ from France who dominated tennis in the late 1920s and 1930s. He died in 1994 aged 95.
