British Lions tour of South Africa 1938. A rare gilt metal pin badge in the form of a gilt lion, the reverse impressed ‘B.R.F.T 1938’ (British Rugby Football Tour). Complete with original pin fittings and in very good condition. Sold with an official menu for ‘A Tribute to the Lions’ for a Dinner held at the ‘Balmoral Conference Rooms, Belfast’ on the 26th April 2001 signed to inside pages by fifteen Irish players who have represented the Lions team and guest speaker Fran Cotton.
