‘Victoria v Western Australia 1966’. Large and impressive original pen and ink caricature/ cartoon newspaper artwork for The Age newspaper by artist Samuel Wells. The cartoon depicts images of players from the match, Vic Joslin, depicted as a bulldog, scoring 126, Colin Milburn 66 for W.A., images of Tony Lock (5-77) and Alan Connolly (4-54) etc. The cartoon, signed by Wells, measures 17”x14”. Dated to verso 21st November 1966. Excellent image. Good condition
