‘The Score of a Cricket Match Played at Weybridge’ 1860. ‘R. Faulder’s Eleven v. Dr. Spyers’s School’. Early and rare small original double sided scorecard with complete(?) printed scores for a match played 27th July 1860. No record of the match can be found. The scorecard depicts Faulder’s XI batting first and being dismissed for 21, Spyer’s XI replying with 121, and Faulder being dismissed in the second innings for 34. Two players recorded as playing in the match appear to have played some first-class cricket, Rev. F.J. de Crespigny (Cambridge University & Nottinghamshire 1843-1848), and A.W. Anstruther (Sussex 1875-1878). To verso, printed bowling analyses for Weybridge School Cricket Club 1860. 5”x6”. Some wear and tear, with tape repairs to verso, otherwise in good condition.
