‘London County v. Teddington’ 1901. Early original double sided scorecard for the match played at Crystal Palace, dated 17th August 1901. Played twelve per side, the scorecard depicts the only innings of Teddington who scored 172, R. Powell-Williams top scorer with 67. London County replied with 262/8, W.G. Grace, batting at number nine, top scorer with 65no, T.A. Darke 61 and W.F.L. Frith 55. No record of this match can be found on cricketarchive.com and it is not known if the match was completed nor the result. Printed on the ground by J.J. Keliher & Co., London. 4.5”x6”. London County C.C. fixtures for season 1901 printed to verso. Some wear and age toning to verso, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
W.G. Grace was invited to help form London County C.C. in 1899 and they played first-class fixtures between 1900 and 1904.
