Middlesex C.C.C. 1904. Three early original double sided scorecards for Middlesex ‘home’ county matches played at Lord’s. Matches are v. Lancashire, 15th- 17th August 1904 with incomplete printed scores. Middlesex scored 369 (George Beldam 119) in their only innings. Lancashire made 180 (Albert Trott 6/59) and, following on, ended 47/2, the match drawn. v. Surrey, 18th- 20th August 1904, complete printed and handwritten scores. Surrey scored 179 (Jack Hearne 5/50) and 179 (Bernard Bosanquet 6/75), Middlesex 109 (Walter Lees 5/40) and 250/8 (Beldam 98, Gregor MacGregor 63no), Middlesex winning by two wickets. v. Kent, 22nd- 24th August 1904, complete printed and handwritten scores. Kent scored 280/8 declared (Alec Hearne carrying his bat for 100no) and 83 (Bosanquet 5/23), Middlesex 229 (Plum Warner 78) and 135/9 (Colin Blythe 5/32), Middlesex winning by just one wicket. Each card with printed results and fixtures at Lord’s to verso. 5”x8.25”. Very good condition.
