Triangular Test series 1912. Five rare original scorecards from the series including four Test matches and one tour match. Test match scorecards are South Africa v. Australia, Old Trafford, 27th- 29th May, incomplete printed scores. Australia won the opening Test match of the tournament by an innings and 88 runs, during which Jimmy Matthews of Australia performed the unique feat of taking hat-tricks in both innings. These were the only wickets he took in the game, finishing with 3/16 and 3/38. England v. Australia, Lord’s 24th- 26th June, players listed at the start of play, match drawn. Creasing. England v. South Africa, Headingley, 8th- 10th July, incomplete printed scores, England won by 242 runs. England v. South Africa, Kennington Oval, 12th & 13th August, incomplete printed and handwritten scores, England won by ten wickets. Also the tour match, Surrey v. Australians, Kennington Oval, 16th- 18th May, players listed at start of play, Australians won by seven wickets. Odd faults, overall in good condition.
