Home matches are v Middlesex, 3rd- 5th May, Oxford 232 & 58/1, Middlesex 190, match drawn. v Hampshire, 10th- 12th May, Hampshire (171 & 307) beat Oxford (97 & 242) by 139 runs. v Somerset, 31st May- 2nd June, Oxford (109 & 299) beat Somerset (99 & 214) by 95 runs. v The Army, 3rd- 6th June, Oxford (158 & 314) beat The Army (312 & 145) by 15 runs. v Lancashire, 14th- 16th June, Lancashire (255 & 162) beat Oxford (167 & 153) by 97 runs. Other matches are v H.D.G. Leveson-Gower’s XI, The Saffrons, Eastbourne, 6th- 8th July, Oxford 158 & 250, Leveson-Gower’s XI 207 & 196/9, match drawn. v Cambridge University, Lord’s, 10th- 12th July. Complete printed scores. Cambridge scored 403 (Percy Chapman 102no), Oxford 222 and 81, Cambridge winning by an innings and 100 runs. The scorecard laid to tightly trimmed heavy card.
