England XI v Australians at Blackpool 11th- 14th September 1926, Australians 281 & 201/4, England XI 191, match drawn. v Middlesex 3rd- 5th August 1927, Lancashire (413, Hallows 134, & 87/0) beat Middlesex (253 & 246) by ten wickets. v Kent 6th- 9th August 1927, Kent 241 & Lancashire 331/7 (Tyldesley 133no), match drawn. v New Zealand 17th- 19th August 1927, Lancashire 229 (Tyldesley 124), New Zealand 57/1, match drawn. v Middlesex 8th- 10th August 1928, Lancashire scored 406/6 declared (Tyldesley 168), Middlesex 151 & 145, Lancashire won by an innings and 110 runs. The Rest v Lancashire (Champion County Match), Kennington Oval 13th- 17th September 1930, Lancashire 115 & 190 lost to The Rest (263 & 43/0) by ten wickets. v Nottinghamshire 25th- 28th July 1931, Lancashire 249 (Horrocks 100no) & 9/0, Nottinghamshire 263, match drawn. v Middlesex 13th- 16th August 1932, Middlesex 223 & 236, Lancashire 386/5 declared (Paynter 148, Tyldesley 100) & 74/1, Lancashire won by nine wickets. v Gloucestershire at Liverpool 24th- 26th August 1932, Gloucestershire 514 (Hammond 264), Lancashire 248 & 157/7, match drawn. v Warwickshire 24th- 27th June 1933, Warwickshire 279 & 152/7, Lancashire 251, match drawn.
