England v. Australia 1930. Original commemorative silk scorecard for the 5th Test played at Kennington Oval, 16th- 22nd August 1930 (Timeless Test). England chose to bat first and reached 405, Herbert Sutcliffe top scorer with 161. Australia replied with 695, Don Bradman scoring 232, Bill Ponsford 110, Ian Peebles taking 6/204. England were then bowled out in their second innings for 251, Percy Hornibrook taking 7/92. Australia won by an innings and 39 runs to take the series 2-1 with two matches drawn and regain The Ashes. The scorecard measures 6”x10”, laid down to card and loose mounted to black album page. Very good condition.
