Scorecards are v M.C.C., Lord’s 14th- 17th May, match drawn (Bradman 278). v Surrey, Kennington Oval 21st- 24th May, match drawn (Bradman 143, Barnett 120no). v Essex, Southend-on-Sea 4th- 6th June, Australians won by 97 runs (Ward eleven wickets). England v Australia, 1st Test, Trent Bridge 10th- 14th June, match drawn with seven centuries including two double centuries in four days! (Paynter 216no, Barnett 126, Compton 102, Hutton 100, McCabe 232, Brown 133, Bradman 144no). Folds. v Gentlemen, Lord’s 15th- 17th June, Australians won by 282 runs (Bradman 104, Fingleton 121, Badcock 112no). 2nd Test, Lord’s 24th- 28th June, match drawn (Hammond 240, Brown 206, Bradman 102no), complete printed scores. v Yorkshire, Bramall Lane, 2nd- 5th July, match drawn (Smailes eleven wickets), complete printed scores. 4th Test, Headingley 22nd- 25th July, Australia won by five wickets (Bradman 103, O’Reilly ten wickets). v H.D.G. Leveson-Gower’s XI, Scarborough 10th- 13th September, Leveson-Gower’s XI won by ten wickets (Hardstaff 108). Odd faults, otherwise in good condition.
