M.C.C. tour to South Africa ‘Timeless Test Series’ 1938/39. Two official folding scorecards for tour matches. The first a folding scorecard for the match Rhodesia v M.C.C., Salisbury 10th- 13th February 1939 with incomplete handwritten scores in ink. M.C.C. batted first and scored 180, Rhodesia replying with 96, (Goddard 6/38). M.C.C. then scored 174/2 dec. (Edrich 101) and Rhodesia ended 95/6 and the match was drawn. Printer unknown, overall 12.5”x10”. The other a double sided scorecard with complete handwritten scores in ink for Natal v M.C.C., Pietermaritzburg 25th- 28th February 1939. Natal batted first scoring 295 (Dalton 110), M.C.C. replied with 407 (Edrich 150). Natal were then dismissed for 219 (Wright 6/66), and M.C.C. ended 110/1 to win by nine wickets.
