Four mono real photograph plain back postcards of teams at Scarborough, the players depicted standing in one row wearing cricket attire in front of the pavilion. Includes two postcards of Yorkshire teams for matches v M.C.C. 1st- 3rd September 1954 and 31st August- 2nd September 1955, the Canadian team v Yorkshire, 28th & 30th August 1954, and the Gentlemen for the match v Players, 4th- 7th September 1954. Players featured include Yardley, Hutton, Booth, Appelyard, Close, Illingworth, Wilson, Lester, Padgett, Lowson, Wardle, Binks, Trueman (Yorkshire), also Marlar, Warr, May, Edrich, Insole, Simpson, Bailey, Surridge (Gentlemen), Robinson, Brierley, Trestrail, Percival, Stead, Christen (Canada) etc. All by Walkers Studio, Scarborough, three with official stamps to verso. Players’ names annotated to verso of three. Small nick to top edge of the Canadians card, otherwise in very good condition.
